Here we have a cool vintage Melody Maker from Gibson! This 1963 Double Cut model is in very good shape overall.

Specs include a mahogany body, mahogany neck, rosewood fingerboard, dot inlays, strip tuners, and a lightning bar bridge. It has one single coil pickup with volume and tone controls.

This guitar shows lacquer checking over most of its surface, along with light wear and a light patina. The bridge and tuners are replaced, but the originals are included. The knobs are newer speed knobs, and the plastic strap buttons are changed out for metal ones. The frets are in good shape. The finish, electronics and other parts appear original.

This guitar weighs 5lbs 12oz. The neck measures .820 to .980 at the 1st and 12th frets. It has a medium oval C neck carve that isn’t too thin. The guitar is lightweight, well balanced and really resonant. We love the checking and overall vibe of this one, plus it plays great too!

Ships in a vintage brown hardshell Gibson case with red interior. It includes the original bridge and tuning machines.
