We love getting these ES-125's in, they are the best deal for jazz players looking for a vintage Gibson jazzbox. No frills and all about tone, the ES-125 features a single P-90 neck pickup paired with a non-cutaway 16" laminate body. This one has a classic early 50's jazz tone, reminiscent of early Joe Pass or Jim Hall recordings. It's in great shape with a played in neck that has a nice semi-matte feel after years of playing, no cracks or repairs.
This example has a replaced gold tailpiece, gold tuners and a replacement pickguard. It has a neck profile that measures .882"/1st and .969"/9th, and the original P-90 that measures 7.35k. Serial #9988_16, comes with a non original case. Please refer to the provided photos for more detail on the condition of this instrument. As with all of our vintage listings, included is a vintage spec sheet which details any repairs & changes of note.
