The Gold Tone SM-Weissenborn+ captures the authentic hollow-neck design and woody warmth of Herman Weissenborn's original Hawaiian steel guitars that no round-neck guitar can replicate.

This instrument is brand new and comes with Gold Tone's full manufacturer warranty.

This instrument is professionally set up at Gold Tone's factory in Titusville, Florida and ships directly from Gold Tone.

Built specifically for open G and open D tunings with included string gauges, this instrument features the signature hollow neck construction that extends the body's resonating chamber for authentic Hawaiian slide guitar tone.

The SM+ model upgrades from the entry-level GT with its solid spruce top and original-style rope binding that enhances both visual appeal and tonal character.

Perfect for Hawaiian music, country blues, or experimental acoustic slide work, this instrument demands respect for its tuning requirements - standard E tuning will void the warranty as the construction is designed around lower-tension open tunings.
