This is Gibson's salute to the 1969 Les Paul, the re-introduction of the classic LP shape following the SG era. The Deluxes where characterized by their mini-Humbuckers, a brighter, tighter, and clearer tone to their full-sized cousins. This is a Nashville production unit, not a Custom Shop.

This one has a Mojotone Hot Rod mini in the bridge position to bring its output closer to that of the bridge while not losing the snap of the original. Think of it as halfway between standard mini and full-sized. Best of both words.

Condition is Excellent. There are small bumps and nicks here and there, with the most egregious being some buckle rash on back, a pinhole size divot on face between stopbar and knobs, and two scuffed areas on end of headstock, backside, near the book spine (they appear like reflections in photo). There are some scrapes on the face of the headstock below the strings.

Bought this used in Oct of 2017 and have put about 12 hours on it, all in the studio. From the looks of it, the previous owner(s) took very good care of her.

Neck thickness measures 0.82" at 1st fret and 0.96" at 12th. Nut width is 1.69". Weighs in at a robust 10 lbs even of solid mahogany sustain!

Selling to free up space in my home studio. This one was a tough decision.

Comes with case, which I assume is original. It's in very nice shape with handful of scrapes.
