The Fender Vintera III Late '60s Precision Bass Maple in 3-Color Sunburst pairs a classic finish with the added snap and brightness of a maple fingerboard. The tortoiseshell guard and late '60s styling give it that unmistakable era-specific vibe. If you want traditional P Bass thump with a little extra attack and clarity, the maple board version is worth a close look.

The alder body provides balanced response and strong fundamental punch, matched with a maple neck carved into a Late '60s C profile that feels comfortable and solid. The 7.25 inch radius maple fingerboard with 20 vintage tall frets keeps everything period-correct under your hands. The Vintage-Style Late '60s split single-coil Precision Bass pickup delivers powerful lows and focused mids that sit perfectly in rock, soul, and pop settings. The 4-saddle vintage-style bridge with threaded steel saddles keeps intonation stable and sustain strong.

Vintage-style lollipop tuning machines, bone nut, and nickel chrome hardware complete the authentic build. The simple Master Volume and Master Tone layout makes dialing in your sound easy and direct. We like this one because it blends late '60s Precision Bass authority with the added clarity of a maple board. A deluxe gig bag is included.
