The Fender Vintera III Mid ’60s Mustang captures the punchy, articulate tone and compact feel that made the Mustang a favorite in the mid-1960s. Built with an alder body and round-laminate rosewood fingerboard, it delivers crisp attack, clear note definition, and a warm, woody character that feels instantly familiar.
A Mid ’60s “C”-shaped maple neck with a 7.25" vintage radius and vintage tall frets offers an authentic, comfortable playing experience. Two vintage-style mid-’60s Mustang single-coil pickups provide sweet, sparkling highs and balanced lows, while the vintage-style Mustang “floating” tremolo and period-correct tuning machines complete the classic design.
