This 1960 Harmony H7208 Roy Smeck is a cool, honest example that shows its age but still plays great and has tons of vintage vibe.

The guitar shows typical wear for its age, including finish checking, scratches, dings, and general playwear. The hardware shows average discoloration consistent with a 1960 instrument. Part of the Roy Smeck headstock emblem came off long ago and is not present as pictured.

Playability is great! it plays beautifully over the entire fingerboard with very good action. The neck is straight and the truss rod functions as it should. The frets show average wear and do not require attention.

The guitar is largely original, with the following exceptions:

- Bridge

- Nut

- Truss rod cover

- End strap button

The pickguard has experienced slight shrinkage, and two of the pointed tips have cracked off; however, the pieces are still present and attached.

All electronics are original and in working order, with pot codes dating to 1960. EVERYTHING Works. After reassembly for inspection, we noticed a minor grounding issue. Some staticky intermittent noise is present but disappears when touching the jack. Likely a loose ground wire or solder joint. We chose not to reopen the guitar, so it is being sold as-is in this regard.

No case is included with this sale. The guitar will be securely bubble wrapped and professionally packaged to ensure safe delivery.
