Nice 1 owner Pbass in very nice condition. Looks, plays and sounds wonderful. 372xxx serial, 1973 Dated pickups, 1973 harness with 1 wire changed. The original guard was demolished (some pieces are included and it is a white guard) and replaced with an older, better quality guard. Neck, frets, rod, are all good. Body finish is strong and not too much fade. Shows minor player wear and age patina. Back also has some smooth buckle rash. As we say great basses get played. Back in the day, as common, the early thick skin was 0000 steel wooled to satin only on the back of the neck. Everyone hated the thick skin as they were used to a lacquer neck finish.

In summary, we have a very nice pbass, 1 changed wire, changed guard, satin'd back of the neck that plays and sounds really nice, looks great. A tick over 9lbs. Has a period, generic tolex case.
