Martin / 2023 CTM D-28

"A playful D-28 from the Custom Shop"

—Exotic figured rosewood
The sides and back are made of Indian rosewood, which has a wide grain and a light color that gives it a unique texture.

Vintage white binding and a checkerboard center strip add a touch of elegance.

—A top with unique CTM embellishments
The spruce top features the standard vintage white binding and multi-colored purfling.
The rosette is a unique embellishment for this model.
While rosettes typically use multi-colored celluloid, this instrument features not only multi-colored celluloid but also abalone shell embellishments.

—Striped Ebony Fretboard
The fretboard is made of ebony wood with subtle stripes and features mother-of-pearl dot position markers.
This pattern is also proof that natural wood is used.

-Gloss Finish Neck
While Martin's default slim necks are usually satin-finished, this instrument features a gloss finish.

This is another specification unique to CTM.

Bridge
The down-belly bridge is fitted with a short saddle, and the ivory bridge pins are adorned with abalone shell dots.

Head
The headstock, made of Indian rosewood veneer, features a Golden Era-style logo and a gloss finish.

—Tuning Machine
The tuners are Grover open-back tuners, and the butterbean buttons give them an authentic feel.

The all-gloss finish on the D-28 is a feature only available on custom shop models.

It offers a luxurious feel and a brilliant, lustrous tone reminiscent of the 40s series.
Equipped with an L.R. Baggs Anthem, it's sure to be a great asset not only for live performances but also for recording!

-There are some scratches and scuffs from playing, but there are no cracks, so you can play with confidence.
-The nut and saddle have been replaced with new ones.

[Playing Condition]
-String height at 12th fret: 2.5mm on the 6th string side, 2.0mm on the 1st string side
-Saddle protrusion: Approximately 2.0mm to 3.5mm
-There are no buzzing or dead spots, and the playing condition is good.
