Brand NEW guitar! Authorized Dealer!

Vintage character with modern PRS craftsmanship

The PRS S2 Vela Semi-Hollow Black Rainbow Holoflake Limited Edition is a striking and extremely rare instrument, with only 25 guitars produced worldwide. Built in the USA, this limited model combines the distinctive personality of the Vela platform with an eye-catching holographic finish and the lively resonance of a semi-hollow body.

The Vela’s offset body design balances elegance with a slightly rebellious edge, while the semi-hollow construction and f-hole add openness, resonance, and extra acoustic character to the instrument.

Electronics are mounted directly on the pickguard and feature a unique pickup pairing. The PRS DS-01 pickup in the treble position delivers a bright, articulate tone with plenty of chime, while the PRS Narrowfield pickup in the bass position adds bite and clarity with a focused, humbucker-like punch.

The push/pull tone control activates a coil tap on the treble pickup, allowing it to split to single-coil operation. This provides a balanced, cutting tone that sits beautifully in a mix.

Anchoring the guitar is the PRS plate-style bridge, a design inspired by Paul Reed Smith’s early bridge concepts and traditional bass plate bridges. The bridge is top-loading for easy restringing and features brass saddles mounted on a steel plate, delivering excellent sustain and tonal depth.

After ten years of the S2 series, PRS updated the line beginning in 2024 with USA-made pickups and electronics, bringing additional value and professional performance to these instruments.

With its rare finish, semi-hollow resonance, and versatile electronics, the PRS S2 Vela Semi-Hollow Black Rainbow Holoflake stands out as both a collector’s instrument and an inspiring stage and studio guitar.
