Rare 1971 Ludwig Chrome over Brass 6.5x14” Supraphonic with the “B” stamp under the butt plate, S/N #864XXX, these were made for Pro Drum Shop in Hollywood who had 50 of the 5x14”(that had the cut badge) and 50 of the 6.5x14” made by request of the owner Bob Yeager.this is a spun brass shell not welded like early 60’s Super Ludwig snare , Condition is a solid 8 out 10, Im the 3rd owner , the two cons are the badge that got messed up when the 2nd owner who I got it from tried to glue the edges down with crazy glue back in the 80’s and some got on the face of the badge and when he tried to wipe it off it smeared the ink and there is a small 1/8” divot near one of the lugs thats showing the brass (not sure where that came from and neither did the 2nd owner (see pic with divot circled in red) snare wires are original.
