An exceptional 1964 Jazzmaster in 3-tone Sunburst with all the right boxes ticked.
Clay dots, transitional logo and an L series neck plate. A very good thing. Everything is clean and original throughout. Original frets, pots, pickups, nothing hiding under the hood. Alder body. An honest, straight guitar that has simply survived extremely well.
It has that open, articulate Jazzmaster these pre CBS 60's instruments are treasured for. Lively acoustic response, clear low end, airy top and the kind of balance that only really shows up on the best examples.
Built in a moment of optimism before everything got louder and heavier. A year before Rubber Soul.
