Rare Limited Production Color In Great Condition!
2012 Gibson Alex Lifeson Signature Les Paul Axcess
Ebony/Black
SN AL717
Original Run
With COA & Original Alex Lifeson Signature Case
Up for sale is an extremely rare 2012 Gibson Alex Lifeson Signature Les Paul Axcess in Ebony/Black finish with desirable early AL serial number (AL717). This is from the original production run, not one of the later Custom Shop “CS” serial number models.
These early AL-numbered guitars represent the first issue Lifeson Axcess models and are widely considered more collectible due to their limited numbers and original-run status. This guitar is priced in line with the last black example sold on Reverb, and it is wayyy cleaner.
Additionally, word on the street is that only 10 of these were produced in black, making this finish particularly desirable. While this has been mentioned in multiple sources, it has not been directly verified by Gibson.
NOTE: I didn't realize until looking at the pictures in listing that the SN on the inspection sheet is not the same AL number as the guitar, although still a AL number. It was either a mix-up from the factory or here. We've had quite a few of these, so anything is possible. All else is correct and the original inspection sheet will not be present.
