This bass is a sculpted piece of sonic art. The first thing that hits you is that shifting pearlescent matte finish—an iridescent purple-to-green hue that subtly morphs with your angle of view. Then, there’s the sleek ebony fretless board, lined with side dots and topped off with a brass nut up top for a hint of extra tonal brightness, and a huge boost to sustain.

This beast is built for players who live in the pocket. The full-length finger ramp promotes clean and consistent articulation for fingerstyle bassists, turning runs and grooves into effortless motions. The soapbar pickup is housed just beyond the ramp, and the control layout is streamlined yet highly versatile with a 3-band EQ, and series/parallel/tap options for the pickup. Round the back, you’ll find a beautifully executed electronics cavity, complete with magnetic cover plate, copper shielding and a clean, pro-level wiring job. The 18v compartment powers the onboard preamp, offering tons of headroom and clarity for both pristine cleans and heavier modern tones.

Condition-wise, this one’s in great shape overall, with some minor finish wear from honest playtime. There’s a pea-sized chip on the top edge near the bridge, and three smaller rice-grain-sized dings—one on the side near the bridge, and two on the back: one by the bass-side lower bout and one up near the body horn. None of these blemishes affect performance, and the overall presentation remains sharp and sleek.

This Alpha has been professionally set up with low action and optimal neck relief. The electronics have been cleaned and tested to ensure full functionality. The fretboard has lightly polished for the perfect glide. It comes in a rugged padded gigbag, making it stage- and studio-ready from the jump.
