The 286 is the next generation, classic DBX 286A mic preamp that comes equipped with Mic Preamp, De-esser, Compressor, Two Band frequency enhancer sections as well as Expander.

This unit sounds excellent in its price range and offers good headroom and analog warmth with the modifications for a Pro Level experience.

The service on these increases the headroom of the unit, widens the frequency response, lowers the noise and increases the detail across the audio spectrum.
