Martin / 1996 000-28 12-Fret GE

"A model produced in a limited edition of 367 units."

This instrument is a reproduction of the 000-28 12-Fret model, which was unfortunately discontinued in 1933 as part of the Golden Era series, a reissue of models from Martin's golden age of the 1930s and 1940s.

-12-Fret Joint Neck
The 20-fret neck, extending from the slotted headstock adorned with the classic C.F. Martin logo, is set into the body from the 12th fret.

The fingerboard is made of ebony with diamond square inlays, and the neck is made of mahogany with a V-shape finish.

It gives a classic impression both visually and aesthetically.

-12 Fret 000 Size Body
The top is made of spruce and features ivoroid celluloid and herringbone trim.
This specification is unique to pre-war and wartime models.
The body size is 000 (Triple O), but unlike a 14-fret joint 000, it features a clean, streamlined shape at the top of the body.

Side/Back
Made from quarter-sawn Indian rosewood, the ivoroid cell frame tightens the body shape.
The center strip features a zigzag pattern, giving it an authentic look.

Bridge
The pyramid bridge, crafted from ebony, features a short saddle and ivoroid bridge pins with black dots.

-Tuning Machine
Features WAVERLY open-back tuners.
The metallic patina is irresistible.

[Playing Condition]
- String height at 12th fret: 2.0mm on the 6th string side, 1.5mm on the 1st string side
- Saddle protrusion: Approximately 3.0mm to 3.5mm
- No buzzing or dead spots; playing condition is excellent.
