This was a remedy to a few things for me.
1. My Mark Hoppus bass didnt have a tone control. So running this at the beginning of my chain, i could get some rolled off tones and tame the highs.
2. Throw it before an overdrive and tame the highs.
There is no dedicated IN or OUT. You can plug into either end.
