For sale I have a pair ofAKG C12a microphones in the much rarer (and cooler in my opinion) Phillips Norelco branding! The mics are in beautiful condition and sound phenomenal. They're only 71 serial numbers apart and have been used as a stereo pair for as long as I'm aware. Perfect on drum overheads, acoustic guitars, AMAZING on piano, even vocals! All the top end sparkly clarity you'd expect from the Brass CK12, and never harsh. Robust low end, and unmistakable 3D quality that you can not get with modern mics.
Recently went in for a checkup and passed with a clean bill of health! The mics are all original, and yes have their original Brass CK12 capsules in fantastic condition. No reskin needed! They came with their original swivel mounts with upgraded Sommer cabling, the best you can buy. Power supplies were built by the famous John Peluso specifically for each mic. and everything comes in a heavy duty SKB case.
Only selling because I am downsizing and no longer recording much drums or piano, which these were my go to for!
These are in perfect working condition, but due to their vintage (60 year old) nature, I am selling them "As Is" with no returns. Please feel free to reach out with any questions.
