Vintage offset Japanese body and pickups probably built in the Kawai factory in the 60s. I have no idea what happened to the original neck but it is pretty well set up with 10s on a modern Michael Kelly import neck. It's a little stiff playing for a 24.75" scale but it holds a tune well even with a little vibrato usage. The pickup tones are surprisingly good. I'm sure it's been rewired at some point because it's super quiet and the 4 way rotary switch feels incredibly solid. The pickup selection is as follows as you turn the switch clockwise:
1. Bridge
2. Neck
3. Bridge and middle
4. Neck and middle
