Two things we can all agree on are that ease-of-use and great tone straight out of the box are always an amazing aspect in a product. Well that's exactly what the Bad Cat Purepath offers. It's passive - no power supply required. It's analogue - maintaining every nuance of your signal. It's simplistic - plug your amp in, cab out, and line out and use the switches to tweak to your liking. This is a dependable unit that isn't going to let you down on the road or in the studio, night after night and easily slotting into your signal chain.

The Purepath is designed by esteemed amp guru, Bruce Egnater, and features an all-new reactive load that physically simulates the movement and dynamic behaviour of a real guitar speaker. It has a much more cabinet-like response compared to traditional IR or DSP based units and preserves your amp's dynamics, feel, and output stage interaction. There's a reason it won the NAMM award for "Best In Show 2026"!
