The IK Multimedia Z-TONE Buffer Boost is a powerful preamp and buffer pedal for guitar and bass, designed to shape your tone right at the front of your signal chain. Using input circuit technology derived from the AXE I/O interface, it lets you precisely control the interaction between your instrument and the rest of your rig.

Z-TONE Shaping and PURE/JFET Channels
The Z-TONE control offers variable impedance, allowing you to move from tight, precise tones to thicker, more aggressive sounds. You can also choose between the PURE channel for transparent tone or the JFET channel for added warmth, harmonics and midrange focus, giving you maximum tonal flexibility.

Boost, Connectivity and Signal Integrity
The built-in Boost circuit adds gain and volume to push your amp or pedals harder, while the high-quality buffer preserves your signal across long cable runs and complex pedalboards. With balanced XLR output, ground lift switch and multiple connection options, this pedal is ready for stage and studio use.
