(DP227) is a popular signature neck humbucker designed for John Petrucci, offering a smooth, singing tone with warm highs and tight, bright lows. It is designed for high-performance, producing articulate, focused sounds for both heavily overdriven solos and clean, complex chords.
The DiMarzio DP227 guitar pickup is recommended for the neck position but can also be used in bridge position.
