This is a 1978 Fender Jazz bass.  Ash body in Walnut finish (I also see this color called Mocha or Wine) with Maple neck and bound Rosewood fretboard.  Bass has nicks/dings/scratches, lacquer checking and some lacquer flaking off near the arm bevel but overall it is in very good cosmetic condition.  This one has a recent pro refret and new bone nut and it plays great up and down the fretboard with nice action and no buzzes or issues.  The frets show no real wear.  The pickguard, knobs, and pickups have been changed but otherwise it looks to be all original.  The pickups look to be vintage Dimarzio Jazz pickups but I haven't pulled them to confirm. The original pots all function properly and the pots date to 1978.  The weight is 9.95 lbs.  It comes in the original hardshell case.  One latch is broken and the bottom shows some heavy wear but it's still very functional.  Please let me know if you have any questions. No trade offers please. Thank you!
