For sale is a Marcus Miller Sire V8 5 String Bass.
It was passed down to me from a bandmate. Selling since I've had it over a year and it hasn't been played at all.
There has been some modification from the previous owner who replaced the stock preamp.
It currently has an unlabeled active preamp circuit that takes one 9V battery (compartment fits two but only uses the top slot).
Controls are (from knob closest to pickups):
-Volume, Blend (with notch),Treble, Mids, Low/Boost (with notch).
Active/Passive toggle switch was removed.
A few scratches on the back and a small dent near the string ferules.
Just changed strings to DR Pure Blues 45-105 on E-G strings and a 125 on the Low B from a DR DDT set.
