This 2020 PRS McCarty Core is a masterclass in modern vintage design, blending Ted McCarty’s golden-era inspiration with Paul Reed Smith’s world-class craftsmanship. Featuring a stunning 10-Top in Faded Whale Blue, this guitar captures a perfect balance of elegance and grit. The slightly thicker back provides enhanced resonance and sustain, while the Pattern neck profile offers a comfortable, substantial feel that players crave for both rhythmic stability and lead fluidity.

At its heart, this McCarty is equipped with 58/15 LT (Low Turn) pickups, delivering a warm, clear, and uncompressed vintage humbucking tone that sparkles in the highs and stays punchy in the lows. With its push/pull tone control for authentic coil-tapping, it offers a massive palette of sounds ranging from thick, singing blues leads to crisp, single-coil chiming. This is a premium, versatile workhorse built for the serious player who demands Core series reliability and a breathtaking aesthetic.

Only visible signs of wear is a small bit of buckle rash on the back (pictured).
