If you know, you know. Gibson amps from this era are iconic, and with good reason!
Rated somewhere around 8 to 10 watts, the Discoverer is tweed-esque, and enables gorgeous tube breakup at lower volumes. It's characteristic sound pairs well with an array of different pickup combinations, amplifying the best qualities in anything from P90s to single coils, humbuckers, etc. You're going to notice right away the flexibility and detail that this little combo can offer.
The speaker is most likely original, or at the very least period correct, stocked with a single 10" Jensen. It's equipped with a 12AX7, 5Y3, and a pair of 6V6s. Classic combo, no notes. Not to mention, it's kinda rare to see one of these with the Gibson badge fully intact. Whether you're a collector or player, it's always nice to see the history of these amps preserved.
