1973 Marshall JMP Super Lead 100w Amp Owned by KISS #57794

WORKING CONDITION: Excellent. Delightfully tested here, and this amp sounds very healthy. The tone swings from Plexi-like cleans to straight-up rock n roll filth. This amp toured the world with the legendary band KISS in their 70's glory, so you know it's ready to---dare we say it?  (rock n roll all night and......)

PHYSICAL CONDITION: Good. The top metal vent is missing, and both of the 1/4" speaker output jacks have additional XLR jacks added by renowned amp guru Frank Levi so that the speaker cables wouldn't shake loose when playing live--- Apparently, a problem when you play as loud as Kiss! Note that the original 1/4" jacks work just the same, and you don't have to use the XLR jack exclusively.

The control panel is dirty, and much of the lettering is faded or worn. The ground switch on the front of the amp has also been replaced. The head case and chassis are in otherwise great shape, with all of the pots and jacks working perfectly.  The Marshall logo on the front is not original and is much larger than what would have come with the amp stock. This was done to enhance the stage image of having a wall of Marshalls as your backdrop! Rock Star Dreams! Also, the front baffle board has additional screws on the front instead of the inside. Despite being Frankensteined a little bit for enduring the rough and tumble psycho circus of touring, the amp retains all of its fire-breathing core and is solid enough for Kiss Alive 2030!
