I have no idea what you people are looking for when it comes to a fender precision Bass guitar because this one is absolutely amazing and it’s just sitting here on Reverb not even getting questions and the price is perfect .look at what the other basses same year selling for on here… This one is absolutely amazing and whoever buys it is going to think I was crazy as hell For selling it. Unbelievable…
1978 Fender Precision Bass with original Tolex case. Correct me if I’m wrong but this looks like its more of a chocolate sunburst then any of my other sunburst Fenders. I have cherryburst and Sunburst bass guitars all made by fender and this one is a color I haven’t seen in a long time and I remember somebody saying… Thats a beautiful Chocolate burst P-Bass At the AMM Show a couple years back. This is an amazingly clean 48 year old Magical Bass! If you see how clean this bass looks in person and youve been looking to purchase something with very very low mileage then you know what your now looking at! If you buy this bass please do not change the strings! The E string broke many years ago and its the only string that’s been replaced probably in 40 years. The sound of this bass is absolutely old-school funky amazing so if you change the string that’s on you… These are tape wound strings that have been blessed throughout the years where the sound has only gotten better and better. She’s on the 10 pound couple ounces weight wise just like many of the older solid made fenders. There is no buckle rash on the back because my father never wore a belt buckle lol. I do not see any dents cracks or dings other than regular basic signs of useage on a bass thats been well cared for and loved its whole life. For a 48 year-old bass she’s beautiful to me. Please do not buy this Bass guitar if you’re gonna be one of those petty ass crybabies that call me after it’s been shipped to you and it arrives in the condition I’ve explained and then you start crying and telling me… I found a tiny chip in the paint on the back ledge of the bass and I want my money back. You can go kiss my A$$!!! that’s the type of buyers that have been purchasing my instruments and it blows my mind as how stupid and petty they have been so if you’re anything like that stay the hell away from my basses as what you see is what you get. The only 78 P-bass that I have seen that I personally think is in better condition than this one is the one that ANDY is now selling over in Australia at $5500.00 Andy found a time machine that looks as if she was never played and that’s why it’s in such pristine condition. This is a great price for an almost 50 year old bass in this beautiful of condition. Do not buy this if you think you’re going to send it back because you spent good money on it and you did bad in the stock market the same week. That’s the last lame ass excuse I got from someone who bought a beautiful 66 Jazz Bass from me last week. whoever buys this Bass guitar is going to think I was absolutely bat shit crazy for wanting to sell it. That’s what the buyer is going to think once they plug this in and see exactly what she sounds like and that’s playing it through any old amp and not playing it through my 1966 AMPEG B15 Fliptop Portaflex amp. There is no sound in the world like a Pbass played through a fliptop made in 66. Up in heaven that’s what Jesus plays his bass on!!! God bless…
