The Martin Super HD-28 expands the classic HD-28 heritage with a larger, more powerful Super D body design. Offering 20% more internal air volume than a traditional dreadnought, it delivers deep, thunderous bass, increased projection, and a wider dynamic range. Its solid spruce top and solid East Indian rosewood back and sides provide rich overtones, strong low-end response, and a lush, complex sound that will continue to open up over time.
Forward-shifted Golden Era scalloped bracing enhances resonance while maintaining structural integrity, giving the guitar a responsive, lively feel that suits both flatpicking and strumming. Vintage-inspired appointments—including herringbone trim, antique white binding, and diamond-and-squares inlays—pair with modern build precision to create a refined instrument that honors tradition while offering enhanced performance. Nickel open-gear tuners and a molded hardshell case complete the package.
