Used unknown brand non functioning humbucker, possibly Gotoh (Goto) PAF clone - nickel covered, with double cream bobbins and double hex poles. Likely Made in Japan MIJ.

I bought this pickup from Japan, not in a guitar, so I can't say what guitar it was removed from, it could have been aftermarket. There is no branding on it, but it looks exactly like the Gotoh (Goto) PAF pickups from the late 1970's and early 1980's used by Tokai, Burny, Fernandes, Fresher, etc... It has the same baseplate design, same pole spacing and similar construction.

It uses an extra thick ceramic magnet.

This one is completely non functioning. Both coils are open. I am simply listing it in case there is someone out there wanting to repair a vintage Japanese pickup.

With the cover removed, which was epoxied onto the bobbins, there are epoxy or glue marks on top of the bobbins.

The lead wire is black with 4 conductors inside - brown, red, black and orange - and is about 3.5"

The pole spacing is around 47mm (similar to other 1970's Goto PAF humbuckers)
