The timeless combination of a mahogany body and an Adirondack spruce top delivers a wonderfully rich and balanced tone. The sound is clear and well defined, with a perfect balance between treble, midrange, and bass. Paired with the wide 12-fret neck, this guitar is simply outstanding for fingerstyle playing.
In terms of aesthetics, this 000-18 exudes understated class: black binding, black-and-white purfling, a tasteful rosette, and a tortoise pickguard create a classic look. The slotted headstock with rosewood overlay and the gold Martin logo complete the elegant appearance.
This Custom Shop instrument from 2023 is in excellent condition and looks exceptionally clean. There are only a few light playing marks on the pickguard and body, plus one slightly larger scratch below the pickguard. The guitar comes with a certificate of authenticity and a high-quality case from TKL.
