As clean as can be, this '59 ES-175 just came in the shop and makes us remember what makes these vintage Gibson archtops so very special. Start with the iconic PAF, often pilfered for lesser LP clone builds, but this one thankfully has a untouched humbucker that shows what they were originally designed for: jazz! This one has a wonderful neck carve, a perfect transition from earlier 50's chunky necks to the fast, slimmer necks that would follow.

This example has previously had a Bigsby, replacement nut and the can shielding on the volume pot has been resoldered. The original PAF is present and reads 8.43k. Serial #A32804, comes with the original case. Weighs 8.6lbs. Please refer to the provided photos for more detail on the condition of this instrument. As with all of our vintage listings, included is a vintage spec sheet which details any repairs & changes of note.
