The Hawk has been reborn, inspired by Washburn’s iconic Wing Series guitars from 1978. Crafted in Washburn’s USA Custom shop, the Hawk pushes the limits of a legendary design with enhancements for modern players.

The reborn Hawk features an ash body with carved maple top, with a neck-through design for eminent tone and playability. The full-contact hardtail bridge enhances definition and sustain. And dual DiMarzio Double Cream humbucking pickups with push/pull coil-splitting yield limitless sonic potential.

Crafted with passion in Washburn’s USA Custom Shop, the Hawk was one of the first electric guitars with the symmetrical double-cutaway shape, a design many guitar brands have since adopted.

As part of Washburn’s original Wing Series, the Hawk helped define an iconic look that many guitar brands still favor today. The reborn Hawk pushes the symmetrical double-cutaway design forward while keeping the classic tonewood formula of an ash body topped with carved maple.

Why is this b-stock?

It could be for one of several reasons.

B-Stock items have minor cosmetic blemishes that were discovered during the set-up and inspection process. These are strictly cosmetic and do not affect the playability of the instrument. Many times, the blemish is so small you will have a hard time finding it w/ the naked eye. 

In other cases, the b-stock status comes from the model being discontinued, and it is in brand-new condition.

B-Stock items carry a Full Mechanical Warranty, but since they are being sold as a B-Stock, they do not carry a cosmetic warranty. Only instruments w/ minor cosmetic blemishes and/or discontinued are B-Stock.

We will not sell instruments w/ greater issues.

We offer these out of an ever-changing open inventory of b-stock pieces at our distributor's. They don't provide specifics of the issue that caused the b-stock classification.
