We just took in an amazing example of the craftsmanship coming out of the great state of Maryland, in the form of this PRS 509.  It's a Core model, repsenting the finest US production, and classified as a 10-Top.  And it's stunning.

As one of the most versatile guitars in the PRS lineup, the 509 harnesses the power of 5 pickups to deliver 9 uniquely musical tones. The 509 starts with a 5 single coil platform - with the outside four coils grouped as humbuckers. An innovative switching system (a 5-way blade switch and two mini toggle coil-tap switches), gives players an array of humbucking, singlecoil, and blended tones.

Unique appointments include a longer 25.25" scale length which adds upper harmonic sparkle and the PRS Gen III Patented Tremolo which provides impressive sustain.  For 2020, PRS updated this model with a nitro over cellulose (CAB) finish, so that's what you're getting with this one.  

The finish is Charcoal Burst, which looks beatiful over the flame maple top (which is on top of the mahogany body).  You get a smooth playing rosewood fretboard (also on top of a mahogany neck).  The profile is the "Pattern Thin", which is slim, slender and easy to play.  This is the tpe of guitar you won't want to put down.

Setup to play perfectly by the techs in our shop, this PRS 509 is ready to go.  It's in excellent condition - the previous owner took great care of it.  The original hardshell case is included.  If you're looking for super high quality with maximum versatility, this is the guitar to go for.
