Selling an awesome feather light Martin 0-18 from 1919. This guitar is a finger-pickers dream and comes in at only 2 pounds 8oz. It’s had a recent neck set and plays great up and down the neck. The action is perfect with plenty of room in the saddle for adjustments. There are several repaired cracks on the top but they’re all solid being professionally glued and cleated and the ones that look large especially below the high E string are perfectly smooth. The bridge has been replaced and I assume so has the nut but other than that I believe it’s original.
I’m not excited about selling this but I’m trying to generate some cash for a vintage dread. This is the best small-body guitar I’ve ever owned. Inside the guitar there’s a small wooden name plate on the back brace that says Kimo Kalohi so I assume this guitar was once owned by the famous Hawaiian musician at some point. He was active between 1920-1960 give or take so that’s pretty fun.
