Gibson Custom Kirk Hammett “Raven” – Limited 100 Worldwide
Up for sale is the Gibson Custom Kirk Hammett Raven, an extremely limited acoustic-electric built in Bozeman, Montana. Only 100 pieces were produced worldwide, each one signed by Kirk Hammett and positioned as both a high-end instrument and a collector’s piece.
This model reimagines the classic Hummingbird silhouette through a darker, gothic lens. Finished in jet-black nitrocellulose lacquer, it features striking dual raven pickguards, a mother-of-pearl raven skull headstock inlay, and star inlays across the ebony fingerboard. The aesthetic is bold, dramatic, and unmistakably tied to Hammett’s artistic identity.
Tonally, it retains Gibson’s acoustic DNA. The Sitka spruce top and mahogany back and sides provide a balanced voice with strong mids, clear highs, and excellent projection. It responds equally well to delicate fingerstyle and powerful strumming.
The neck has a comfortable rounded profile, paired with a bound ebony fingerboard (16" radius) for smooth playability. Every detail — from construction to finish — reflects Gibson Custom’s high-end craftsmanship.
It is also fully stage-ready, equipped with an LR Baggs Element VTC +4 system, delivering natural, transparent amplified tone with added headroom for live performance.
This is more than just a signature model — it’s a rare, visually iconic instrument that merges Gibson tradition with Metallica-era identity.
Includes original Gibson Custom hardshell case (raven skull graphic), certificate of authenticity, and matching themed accessories.
