1959 is undoubtedly the most iconic year for Gibson… This R9 features a mahogany neck that sits right in the middle—neither too thick nor too slim. The maple top on this one is beautifully figured with a nice flame. The body is also made of mahogany, and the rosewood fingerboard has a 12-inch radius. This Custom Shop model is equipped with Burstbucker 1 and 2 pickups. It is sold with its original case and certificate of authenticity.
