Extremely rare this guitar. Came to me with a slight neck crack - fully repaired and perfect now - plus some other cosmetic glitches and fauxpas that have been addressed. Now has new Alnico PAF pups, new control plate made from flamey Koa wood, new tuning machines, and light nitrocellulose lacquer finish over the original. Comes with the original hard shell case in good condition except one latch is funky.
The guitar weighs 6.34 lbs, set up with low action and .010-.046 strings.
Feels and plays like a lightweight Les Paul/335 crossbreed.

"The AXD81 is an Artcore series semi-acoustic guitar model introduced by Ibanez in late 2003. It was made in China.
The AXD guitars have a compact, arched top, flat back, single-cutaway, semi-hollow body which offers the warm tones of a hollow body design without the bulk.
The AXD81 features an arched, laminated sycamore top with Æ’ holes and ivory multi-binding on maple back and sides mated to a set-in mahogany and maple neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with ivory binding and abalone block position markers. Components include a pair of Ibanez Artcore humbucking pickups with chrome covers mounted in ivory pickup rings, an ART-1 Tune-o-matic style bridge with a Quik Change tailpiece, a plastic nut, speed knobs, and Ibanez tuning machines with half moon buttons."
