1972 Harald Petersen Model A Classical Concert Guitar

Hello! You are looking at a 1972 Harald Petersen Classical Concert Guitar Model A. This guitar was handmade by a small family Luthier, Harald Petersen of Petersen Classical Guitars. Harald Petersen moved to England from Denmark, and became a highly respected Classical Guitar Maker, based in Cumbria. He is famously associated with and sold many of his guitars through the Spanish Guitar Centre. Harald made numerous fine instruments until his passing in 1969, when his two sons took over production. Weighing in at just 3lbs, this guitar features a solid wood finish, with a cedar top and mahogany back and sides. The tone and projection on this beauty is absolutely amazing, and it truly plays like a dream! The Model A is recognized among Petersen players as a reliable, great-sounding classical guitar.

This guitar is in great vintage condition. The action is excellent and the intonation is spot-on. There is no fret wear apparent on the instrument and the neck is straight as ever! Given it's age, minor chips and imperfections are present throughout the instrument but do not affect it's functionality. Please see photos for a well-rounded look at the condition of the instrument. It has been professionally set up with brand new strings and is ready to play! Includes hard shell case.
