Here for sale we have a Sterling by Music Man L100D Luke Electric Guitar in Luke Blue finish. Made in Indonesia, this guitar consists of a Basswood body, a Maple neck, and a 22-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include Locking tuners, a Vintage-style Tremolo, Chrome hardware, and a set of Sterling by Music Man HH humbuckers. These pickups are wired to a master volume (push/push volume boost), a master tone, and a 5-way pickup selector. 

The Maple neck sits comfortably in the hand, with the ‘Contoured V’ profile adjusting the hand for an ergonomic hold, whilst feeling slender and providing a smooth and articulate playing experience. The Satin finish aids in effortless navigation up and down the neck, with the Rosewood fingerboard offering a pleasant surface under the fingers. The 12” radius and Narrow frets assist with vibrato techniques and assist with faster playing styles, whilst the double cutaway body design provides uninhibited access to the upper register.

Amplified, the Sterling by Music Man humbucker in the neck position sounds thick and full, with a rich low end great for rhythm tonalities. The middle position provides a punchy, tight midrange great for chordal styles of playing whilst being able to cut through a mix. The Sterling by Music Man humbucker in the bridge position produces a clear and articulate top end, balancing very well with a punchy output providing a great feel and clarity. The push/push volume boost provides the player with an extra push working great for solos or when you need to cut through the mix.

Aesthetic Condition:

Headstock: Overall excellent condition. There is some slight discolouration to the edge of the headstock beside the low 'E' machine head.

Neck: Overall excellent condition. Very light indentations can be found on the edge of the fingerboard beside the 1st and second frets on the bass side.

Body: Overall excellent condition. There is a light finish crack stemming from the bass side of the neck pocket, as is common with bolts on necks and posing no structural concerns.

Condition of Frets:

The frets demonstrate a light flattening of the crown, not affecting playability. There is material remaining for any future fret work the new owner may wish to perform.

Current Set Up:

Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss Rod Tool (Spoke Wheel) not included.

Hardware: Fully functional and very good condition. The pickup covers demonstrate light scratching, as do the tremolo cavity and control plates. The neck plate has been replaced with a Tone 5 Titanium neck plate, with the original one with the serial number included, along with the trem arm, in the gig bag.

Structural: No structural concerns to note.

Height of the string from the 12th Fret-1.5mm - Bass 2mm
