In excellent condition, this guitar has been heavily gigged while being amazingly well cared for. At 28 years old, it shows some small knocks from use including a small ding to the neck (see pictures) and a few very light scuffs and marks to the body. In addition, the fingerboard shows some discolouration to the edges, probably caused by a fret dress.
The only modification is the swapping out of bridge saddles, replacing the original steel blocks with Graphtec saddles, otherwise, everything is original and operating exactly as it should. Fretwear is minimal, the neck is straight and the playability is superb.
A quick shout out for the colour. Around this era, Fender produced two very similar colours, Cranberry and Crimson. Both were transparent and especially as the guitars age, they both appear very similar. We've called this Cranberry transparent, but it could just as easily be an aged Crimson Transparent. Either way, it's an unusual and very eye-catching finish.
The guitar is supplied with a high-quality Hiscox hard case and the original tremolo arm.
