Immersive audio is on the rise, and the Steven Slate Audio VSX Immersion One headphone system is purpose-built to provide an immersive soundstage that rivals professional studios. These unique planar magnetic headphones work in tandem with Steven Slate Audio’s VSX modeling engine, translating multi-dimensional room and speaker simulations into a convincing, three-dimensional headphone experience. Just like with closed-back VSX models, all you need to do is load the VSX Platinum plug-in (sold separately) on your master bus or monitoring chain and select a room or speaker model to monitor with reference-grade sound and spatial accuracy. With VSX Immersion One open-back headphones, you can mix more confidently and make better panning, EQ, and spatialization decisions without needing a full speaker array.

PLANAR MAGNETIC DRIVERS

The Steven Slate Audio VSX Immersion One open-back headphones feature custom-tuned planar magnetic drivers with an ultra-thin (one-micron) diaphragm for high-resolution sound with almost no distortion. Planar drivers provide ultra-fast transient response and uniform driver motion, which helps improve phase and frequency response.
