Overall, this incredible 2002 Fender Custom Shop '56 Relic Stratocaster is considered to be in Excellent Relic Condition. This guitar has only been lightly Relic'ed giving it just a few hints of wear and tear, giving it the ultimate look of a stage worn guitar. Please view all pictures before purchasing! This guitar is 100% original, with no modifications at all. The soft "V" neck profile is incredibly comfortable with paired with its vintage style fret wire (Still in wonderful shape with tons of life left!) and 7.25" Radius. The neck is straight with no issues and the Truss Rod functions properly with no issues at all. The pickups sound wonderful, with the perfect Fender "Bell Tone" that can be heard on countless recordings worldwide. Has a 5-way switch. No issues in any of the electronics and everything functions flawlessly.

Note- there is one notable flaw which is a ding on the side of the neck at the 11th fret. It's definitely due to impact damage, not a relic flaw. It is hardly noticeable while playing, and is shown in the pictures.

The trem bar and back cavity cover are genuine Fender replacements.

This is a one owner guitar who had it set-up 'Clapton Style' with the trem locked with a wooden block. We would be happy to convert it back to a standard setup upon request.
