BOB'S DREAM TONE OFFERING

The first signature model in D'Angelico's solid-body collection is now available in the Premier Series. Featuring Weir's concept of a tonal powerhouse, the Premier Bob Weir Bedford hosts two Seymour Duncan Designed stacked P-90s with a SC-101 single-coil nestled in the middle, plus a six-point tremolo. A standard five-way blade makes tone control easy, while an added blender pot blends the neck and bridge pickups (or all three pickups in the notch positions) resulting in a remarkable variety of tones. Further tonal variation is available via push/pull knobs on the master volume and tone, with which the player can drop out the "dummy coil" that helps establish noiselessness on the stacked P-90s and achieve a more open, airy tone. Available only in Matte Stone.

A "NICE PIECE OF WORK"

A lightweight, contoured offset that looks like it was plucked from the 60s, the Bob Weir Bedford provides easy access to the extent of the fingerboard and the preferred tones of the legend himself.

 MAXIMUM TONAL VARIETY

Two Stacked Duncan Designed P-90s with a single-coil nestled in the middle paired with a standard five-way blade makes tone control easy, while an added blender pot allows players to mix in the “odd-man-out”, whichever pickup isn’t selected, guaranteeing maximum versatility. Download Tone Map Diagram

 THAT "COME HITHER" LOOK

A subtle, moody Matte Stone finish “draws you in, rather than demand your attention,” according to Weir.

 BOBBY WEIR

Co-designed with the legend himself, Bob wanted a model that kept stage presence, creativity, and bright vibes in mind.
