1993 G&L SB-2 with custom upgrades; USA made; Cherryburst finish; maple neck; Hipshot tuners; GraphTech Tusq nut; custom wiring modification.
This had been rewired to bring out the full potential of these great MFD pickups, and to add more tonal options. There's 1 master volume with a treble bleed circuit added (to prevent loss of treble response as the volume is rolled off), a 3-way pickup selector switch, and a mini switch for series/parallel options on the split coil neck pickup. These mods were all done with upgraded CTS and Switchcraft components. The control cavity has also been copper shielded for reduced noise. All of this made a substantial improvement in the sound, plus added some tonal options that weren't possible on a stock SB-2. The tuners have also been upgraded to Hipshot 27:1 ratio for better tuning precision.
Comes with a G&L hard-shell case.
