This is a very rare Selmer Paris B700 trumpet designed by Pierre Thibeault, Principal Trumpet of Paris Symphony at the time it was designed. It has TWO TUNABLE BELLS! One in Rose brass marked L and one in yellow brass marked ML. It also comes in the original case. The bore measurs .462 in one place and .463 in another so it’s a ML Bore. The Rose brass bell is a great creamy sound whereas the yellow brass bell can peel paint! according to Google this is a very desirable trumpet for both playing and for collectors since not very many were made before Selmer Paris stopped making their great Trumpets. Making this rare model. The trumpet is in great shape having 90% of its ORIGINAL brass laquer and the NICKEL SILVER lead pipe is in great shape as well. As you can see in the photos the valves are in great shape as well and they all POP when their slides are pulled. Sometimes a problem as many of the B700’s have been loved and played for many years. It also comes with its original case which is in great shape as well! This one still plays great. Of course all slides, valves and water keys work as they should. You’ll see in the photos there are no dents or any areas of past repairs. This trumpet has been used for Wind Band and Jazz large and small group. I’ll stop with my description now as I’m talking myself out of selling it!
