Original vintage Yamaha “luxury“ model LL-5D in gorgeous playing condition, with original hard shell case!
As the name suggests, the “luxury” line of acoustics were some of yama‘s finest, with gold hardware, rosewood back and sides, and solid Sitka spruce top. This one certainly plays like a top model, with excellent frets, and perfect intonation.
A bit of a dred-jumbo hybrid, she’s got a classic dread shoulder profile, and a big ol jumbo butt, not unlike the Martin j40, or some modern Taylor designs. The result is a big, woody voice, with lots of articulation, and a firm, beefy low end.
She’s been very well cared for over the years; no cracks, or repairs, just natural finish patina, and play wear. Enjoy!
