A cult classic in the house! These basses don't crop up often, but when they do, it's easy to see why they made their way into the hands of bands such as PiL, Sonic Youth and Tool.

The Magnum was made in the USA and manages to combine unusual looks and tank-like build quality: mahogany body and neck (graphite reinforced truss rods) with a gorgeous slab of ebony on the fingerboard. The bass is 34" scale but its real innovation comes from its pickups.

The neck humbucker pickup features 4 individual coils, each one having its own volume control. The bridge tone is bright and piano-esque. In short: huge low end on the neck, aggressive treble on the bridge.

Idiosyncratic yet versatile; over-engineered yet deceptively simple. Comes with original case and our customary 2-year warranty.
