The SONY TA-N220 is a versatile, vintage multi-channel power amplifier (1985) designed for 2, 3, or 4-channel operation, delivering warm, clean sound. It provides 4 x 50W (6Ω) or 2 x 100W in BTL (Balanced Transformerless) mode. Key features include a 7Hz-100kHz frequency response, SONY and a 90dB signal-to-noise ratio. SONY's Super Legato Linear (S.L.L.) is a proprietary amplifier circuit technology, designed to eliminate switching noise and reduce crossover distortion for cleaner audio reproduction. It works by ensuring a smooth transition between output transistors, providing linear, high-quality sound.
