The PRS SE Chleo is a collaboration between PRS Guitars and DragonForce guitarist Herman Li, designed to deliver modern performance, effortless playability, and a wide range of tones at an accessible price. Based on the 2025 PRS Chleo Limited Edition, this SE signature model is built with the modern metal guitarist in mind.
A maple top and mahogany back provide a strong tonal foundation, while the maple neck and ebony fretboard offer a fast, responsive feel. The sculpted body carve keeps the guitar thin and lightweight for extended playing comfort. A thin neck profile, 20” fretboard radius, carbon fiber reinforcement rods, and a modified PRS scoop provide exceptional speed, stability, and easy access to the upper frets. “Eclipse Dragon” inlays and a Floyd Rose locking tremolo complete the performance-focused design.
At the heart of the SE Chleo are Fishman Fluence Signature Series Omniforce Herman Li pickups. With three voices and versatile switching that delivers up to 13 unique tone combinations, this system covers everything from aggressive rhythm tones and soaring leads to clear, articulate single-coil sounds. Whether plugged into a traditional amp, modeler, or recording setup, the SE Chleo delivers powerful, modern tone with precision and clarity.
